Obituary of Lorenzo Silvaggi

SILVAGGI, Lorenzo Passed away peacefully on January 28, 2016 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Santina (nee Tiberia). Loving and devoted father Papa to Antonietta Martire and husband Antonio, Annarita Bertrand and husband Mike, and Sandro Silvaggi and wife Pamela. Cherished Nonno to Rosa Kelly (Mark), Stephania Onorato (Salvatore), Tanya Arnold (Justin), Lisa Keletgian (Stephan), Jeffrey Bertrand, Jacob Prsa, Abigail and Lorenzo Silvaggi. Bis-nonno to Nathan Kelly, Anthony Taylor, Andrew and Ava Onorato and Alexander Keletgian. Predeceased by parents Pasquale and Gaetana Silvaggi and in-laws Antonio and Amelia Tiberia. Dear brother of the late Luigi Silvaggi and the late Angela, survived by Giuseppina Alfini and the late Lorenzo, the late Lino Silvaggi and Angela, the late Aldo Silvaggi and the late Liliana, the late Giovanni Silvaggi and the late Edda, the late Francesca Pidutti and Vittorio, Nella Civiero and Ivo. Brother-in-law to Giovanna Carlini and the late Vincenzo, Mario Tiberia and Anna, Anna Maria Di Fabio and Gino (of Italy), and Anna Di Mario and Vincenzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lorenzo was a proud, well known and respected Bricklayer in the local community, and was a member of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor. A heartfelt thank you to Windsor Regional Hospital, Met. Campus 6 North staff for their compassionate care provided to Lorenzo and his family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 2-5 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
