Obituary of Luigi Ferrante

FERRANTE, Luigi Passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side on January 13, 2016 at 83 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Rosa (nee Mancini) for 58 years. Cherished Papa of Umberto Ferrante and wife Angela. Adored Nonno of Tania and David Ferrante. Predeceased by his brother Rocco and sister Natalina and survived by his brothers Benito and Giorgio. Luigi will always be remembered for the many gatherings in his "Florida Room" also known as the garage. Above all, his love and dedication to his family and his passion for his vegetable and flower gardens were among some of his greatest joys in life. He was also a dedicated member of the Ciociaro Club for over 26 years. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. East 519-253-7234 on Friday January 15, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Parish Prayers Friday at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday January 16, 2016 at Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Drive) from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
