Even though I may not have seen my cousin often, we all had a very strong family bond. When you did get together, it was like we had never been apart. I remember days as a little girl vacationing in Kingsville at cottages with my mom & dad (Mary & Al Greb) and Dolores, her sisters and aunt Margaret would come a spend time with us there. For some reason, one time in particular sticks in mind and all the cousins were pouring molasses all over each other and quickly running to water and diving in. I was quite upset, but then realized it was all in fun. And most recently as about 6 or so years ago, while my dad was visiting us here in Florida, we met around Sarasota to have lunch with Dolores, Ray, Elly, my dad, my son Greg (who has Down syndrome) and myself. Dolores took to my son immediately and they were having a great time and being very silly. He crawled under the table to go to the bathroom and he laughed and laughed when Dolores followed him and did the same. When I told him she had passed, and who she was and that we had met for lunch, he quickly remembered that incident and then said, "oh well, she's in heaven now with my grandpa." Her faith is now her sight and she is being held in our father's arms! Love, thoughts and prayers for the whole family!
