Obituary of John Murray

April 15, 1929-January 5, 2016 Welcomed home into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Reunited with his adoring wife Reta (2009), his parents Dora and John, and sister Doreen Marley. Loving and cherished Dad to Dee and husband Chris Oleynik, Doug and wife Debbie, Paul and wife Kathy and John. Proud and devoted Papa to Farrah (Kevin), Graham (Angela), Christa (Jeff), Kim (Greg), and Lesley (Rob), and "The Great Papa" to Zoe, Max, Blake, Gabe, Joel, Gwyn, Lily, and Cohen. John will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and many friends. John was a well respected, dedicated mentor, teacher and Elder at Lakeshore St. Andrew"s Church (which was known as his second home) and he will truly be missed by all those who he served, prayed for and enlightened throughout his life. He will be remembered for his love of art, music and his devotion to God. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E on Thursday January 7, 2016 from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Family and friends will be received at Lakeshore St. Andrew"s Church (235 Amy Croft Dr.) on Friday January 8, 2016 from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am.
