I was very sorry to read that John had died. It brought back many happy memories to me of John and Betty. They were always very good and thoughtful to my mother,Nancy Leith, and she loved them both. From the days that our families met in the Cairngorm Apartments, my memories are dear. I''ll never forget beautiful little Beverley coming down from the second floor to visit us. After a while she would feel the need to check on her Mum and Dad and return upstairs with the words,"Don"t close the door (we had a screen door as well as an outer door) Missa Leith, I''ll be right back!" Many happy memories of your days on Howard and Labadie are in my mind and of Pat and Alan. Our sincere sympathy to all of you. Is your mother keeping well? I could not find an address to write to her. We are still on Patrice Drive, retired and have four grandchildren. Our Nancy has two teenage girls and Bill has two boys ages 3 and 6. All of them are in the Windsor are. George and I have had health issues this past little while but we feel very fortunate when we see our friends with very serious conditions. Perhaps your Mum and Dad saw thar my sister Mollie Bradley of Delta,B.C.died exactly a year ago after a long illness with a rare cancer. Her husband Mike, at 88 continues to live independently in their home. Their daughter Amanda comes out from Vancouver every Sunday to check up on him My sympathy to you all once again. It is so hard to lose a parent and to find the family circle changing. Love one another as you mourn. Sincerely, Nancy and George England
