Obituary of Valerie May Staudt

STAUDT, VALERIE MAY (nee Robillard) Passed away December 28, 2015. Beloved daughter of the late Nelson and Irene Robillard, and pre-deceased by brother, Kenneth. Beloved wife of the late Walter (2007). Cherished little sister of Ron Robillard (Pat), pre-deceased by sister-in-law Marylou. Loved also by Ron and Marylou"s 5 boys Mike, Tom, Jeff, Steve and Richard. Lovingly remembered by, her brother- in-laws Helmut Staudt (Bunny), Kurt Staudt (Sharon), John Staudt (Trish), and her many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Val was a valued employee at Hiram Walkers for 30 years until retirement as an Executive Assistant in 1995. Val was extremely active in The Royal Canadian Legion, Tilbury Branch and proud to serve as Zone A-3 District Commander for South Western Ontario. Her tireless work and commitment was only eclipsed by her wonderful sense of humor and contagious laughter. She will be missed by all. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Legion Service under the auspices of the Tilbury Legion Branch 206 will be held at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 31, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Valerie and in lieu of flowers, if you so desire, donations to Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated by the family.
