Obituary of Penny Ann Garcia

Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side on December 7, 2015 at 61 years of age. Dear wife of Antonio Quevedo having shared 14 years of marriage. Penny is the former spouse of Rafael Garcia (October 2015). Beloved mother of Rafael, Miguel and Carmen. Predeceased by her brother Thierry and sister Cathy. Step-mother to Yoandry and Yirobi. Dear aunt of Christopher Abell. Penny was a well known and respected teacher within the French Immersion community, primarily having taught at Puce Public School where she was a dedicated first grade teacher and a passionate basketball coach. Penny loved spending time in her garden and dancing Salsa with her amor Nico. Visitation will take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 3-5 p.m. 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday December 11, 2015 at 3 p.m. Followed by cremation.
