Obituary of Roy Hugh Steed

STEED, Roy H. Quietly, the soldier is laid to rest. Passed into the heavens on December 6, 2015 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Mazzali). Devoted father of Gay, Joy (Nathan), Carter, Kirk, Merri, Brett (June). Adored Poppa to Aaron, Lanna, Brandon, Natalina, Maya, Emma, Jacqueline & Molly and great Poppa to Anthony (Chooch) Allan. Will be missed by family and a circle of friends that extends to his cottage in Northern Ontario; especially, Peter & Francis Ceschan, Tom Zelony and Wally Sorokopas. Roy enjoyed his retirement from Bondy Cartage for the past 31 years at his cottage every summer. We are eternally grateful for Chateau Park Nursing Home Staff for helping us take care of "Popps" this past year. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Wednesday December 9, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 10, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Chapel. Cremation to follow.
