Obituary of Antonio De Rose

De Rose, Antonio "Tony" Passed away peacefully at 89 years of age on November 21, 2015, with his loving family by his side. Beloved husband of Virginia (nee Coscarella) with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. Dear Father of Dr. Gaetano De Rose and wife Jan (nee Sheridan) of London, Ontario and Dr. Robert De Rose and wife Linda (nee Borrelli) of Windsor, Ontario. Special Nonno of Graham and wife Ashley, Karen and husband Jeffrey Seedhouse, Lauren, Lisa and Jessica. Great Nonno of William and Annabeth. Antonio is survived by his brother Salvatore and wife Lina and sister Giulia Spadafora. Also survived and greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to all the family and friends who have kindly given their unselfish support to our dad over the last few years. Tony had many passions in life, from gardening to making wine to making sure his car was clean, but right to the very end, his number one passion was his love for his family and relishing in their success. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Tuesday November 24, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday November 25, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. leaving from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Antonio, donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor Essex County or to the London Health Sciences Vascular Surgery Department.
