Obituary of Paul Macko

MACKO, Paul It is with heavy hearts that the Macko family announces the passing of Paul Sr. on October 29, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Born in Habura, Czechoslovakia travelled to Canada and settled in Windsor, ON. Loving husband to Joan "Nee Wigle" (1989). Cherished father to Paul Michael Macko (Keri) of Calgary and David Gary Macko (Barbara) of Chatham. Proud grandfather to Shannon Macko and Andrea Macko. Companion to Pat Dube. Predeceased by his siblings Anne Brecka (Joe), Michael Macko (Anne) and Nicholas Macko (Mary). Paul will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Paul made many friends and committed 35 years to Public Service with the Federal Government. Paul was dedicated to his family and was an avid follower of sports. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Wanda Burse in the Chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations made in memory of Paul may be made to the Chatham Kent Hospice (envelopes are available at funeral home).
