Obituary of Ignazio Milana

MILANA, Ignazio After a courageous battle with cancer Ignazio passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 66 years. Beloved husband of Crocifissa "Fina" sharing 39 years of marriage. Loving father of Anna Bastien & husband Steve and Giuseppe Milana and wife Jamie Hayes. Cherished nonno of Samantha, Braden, McKayla, Lukas and Madisyn. Predeceased by his parents Anna & Giuseppe Milana and two brothers Francesco & Franco. Dear brother of Rosanna Milana & husband Francesco D'Angelo, Francesca Milana & husband Filippo Contorno. Son in-law of Antonino Butera and late Maria Rosa. Brother in-law of Giuseppina & Vito Pipitone, Francesco & Elisa Butera and Piera Dufour. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and other family both in Canada and Italy. Ignazio retired from Ford Motor Co., was a member of Unifor Local 200, member of the Caboto Club, Madonna del Rosario and Padre Pio. E on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 2-5 p.m. and Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Services on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Anne's Church for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
