Obituary of Eugenia Kwasnicki
KWASNICKI, Eugenia (nee Kushnir) At peace and surrounded by her family, the Lord called His angel, Eugenia Kwasnicki home to join her husband, Joseph (1987) on October 24, 2015. She will be greatly missed by her four children: Claudia (Gerhard) Griebenow, Walter (Margaret) Kwasnicki, Dennis (Diana) Kwasnicki; and Irene (Cliff) Tiegs. She will be fondly remembered by her ten grandchildren: Kelly (Larry) Savard, Patti Athan, Dennis (Colleen) Kwasnicki Jr., Chris Kwasnicki, Adam (Shelley) Kwasnicki, Michael Griebenow; Jordan (Chelsea) Tiegs; Elysia Tiegs; Joshua Kwasnicki; and Stephanie Tiegs. Her life"s blessings also included six great-grandchildren: Corey Savard; Matthew Athan; Alex Athan; Carly Savard; and Eva and Eli Kwasnicki. She is also survived by her sister Natalia (Steve) Swintak. She is predeceased by her loving parents, Nicholas and Paraskewa Kushnir and her siblings Anna (Stephen) Lozinski; Mary (Dmytro) Zin; and Bill (Mary) Kushnir. Her memory will be cherished by her many nieces and nephews. Eugenia was a devoted Christian and a member of St. Vladimir"s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral where she took on active roles in the past. Her family would like to express their appreciation to the Huron Lodge Staff who provided her daily care in a compassionate and caring manner. E. on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda will be held on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are welcome to gather at St. Vladimir"s Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral on Friday, October 30, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
