Obituary of Alessandro D'Agostino

D'Agostino,Alessandro "Alex" Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Banwell Gardens on October 17, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Gaetana (1993). Loving father of Lina and husband Jim Mackie, and the late Mario D'Agostino (1994), and survived by his wife Janet. Cherished nonno of Daniel D'Agostino, Michelle D'Agostino, and Kristy Mackie (Joe). Dear great-nonno of Alaina. Loving brother of Giovanna Soave (Late Giovanni), and Antonio and Cosimina D'Agostino, Antonietta and Carmine Franchi. Predeceased by Rocco and survived by his wife Francis, Also the late Rosina, Domenica, and Cosimina. Also survived by many other family members in Canada, USA, and Europe. Retired from Ellis-Don Construction Company, Alessandro was a member of the Ciociaro Club, the Holy Name Club, St. Angela Merici Church, and St. Angela Senior Citizens Club. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel 11677 Tecumseh Rd E) on Monday October 19, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Prayers will be at 4:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 8:45 AM at the funeral home, then to St. Angela Merici church for Funeral Mass at 9:30AM. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, or the Canadian Lung Association.
