Obituary of George Lawrence Levesque

It is with heavy hearts that we express the peaceful passing of our beloved brother George on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus. Loving son of Lionel "Leo" Levesque and Pearl (Nee Garant). Mourning his loss are siblings Irene Trottier (Sylvio) the late Rene (1934) Alice Leclair (Hector) Lucille Tousignant (Alex) Roland Levesque (Sandy) the late Leonard (2007) Larry Levesque (Annette). Loving godfather to Christine and uncle to many nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him. George retired from Chrysler Canada after 30 proud and dedicated years of service, and a member of Unifor. In his spare time he enjoyed ballroom dancing, square dancing, perfecting his golf game and spending time with his family. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Anne's Church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015. Interment to follow at St. Anne's Cemetery. In memory of George memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada and the Alzheimer Society of Windsor & Essex County.
