Obituary of Pauline Ogonowski

OGONOWSKI, Pauline Passed away peacefully on October 8, 2015 with her loving Extendicare- Tecumseh family by her side, just shy of her 90th birthday. Reunited with the love of her life Michael Ogonowski. Adored Mother of Sophie and late husband Stuart Gilchrist, Nadia Melnyk and Diane and husband Paul Poirier. Cherished Baba of Michael Poirier, Shawn and wife Francine Poirier, Adam Gilchrist, Mark and wife Melanie Gilchrist, and Andrew and wife Nicole Gilchrist. Dear great Baba of Logan Houchen, William, Benjamin and Elijah Gilchrist, Lauren, David and Matthew Gilchrist, Jackson and baby Poirier on the way. She will also be missed by her family in the Ukraine. Pauline retired from K-Mart after many years of dedicated service in the cafeteria. A special thank you to all of Pauline"s "Girls" especially Diane, Monique and Denise for all of your love and companionship. Also, thank you to Iola for giving us many beautiful memories through Mom"s artwork. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday October 9, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (601 Lake Trail Drive) on Saturday October 10, 2015 for visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Fr.
