Obituary of Stephanie Mary Clancy

Clancy, Stephanie Mary (Stella) nee Prashek December 17, 1917 - October 4, 2015 Beloved wife of the late Ray Clancy (1982). Dear mother of Ron Clancy (Pam) of Vancouver, British Columbia and Marianne Thurston (Charlie) of Solana Beach, California. Loving grandmother of Joseph (Natalie) and Martha (Rob) Clancy and Stephanie and Ian Thurston. Proud great grandmother of Theo Clancy. Dear daughter of the late Martin and Mary Prashek. Predeceased by sister Agnes Kapustiak and brother Walter Prashek. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children and grandchildren. Long time member of the Catholic Women"s League and the Ladies Auxiliary of Council 1453, Knights of Columbus. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of the 2nd floor at Berkshire Care for their support and care over the last 6 years and to Eileen Pelizzari and Vaughn and Pam Young for their visits and thoughtfulness while Stella was in care. Thanks also to the priests from Holy Trinity Parish for their continued pastoral visits. Visitation at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers at 3 p.m. Funeral Service on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home then to Holy Trinity Polish Church (1035 Ellis St. E.) for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Alphonsus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Holy Trinity Parish Building Fund would be gratefully accepted.
