Obituary of Yvette Marie Noel

NOEL , Yvette Marie (nee Dionne) 11-11-1936 to 14-09-2015 Passed away peacefully with loving family by her side on September 14th at the age of 78 years. For over 56 years, beloved wife of Paul (deceased). Cherished mother of Jean-Paul (Anna-deceased), Th"r"se, David (Ann), and Marc (Marie). Gentle and devoted M"m" to Henri, Jim, Megan, Annika, Grace, Katy, Eryn, Jacqueline, Ryan, and Lili. Dear sister to Florence Deschamps, Edgar, Laura Pattenaude (Eugene), Robert (Evelyn). Pre-deceased by siblings Sylvio, Anna Montcalm, Angela Lacasse, and "mile. She will also be missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and friends. Yvette became a young registered nurse who worked on 3rd Surgical at Hotel Dieu hospital. She soon devoted herself full-time to raising her children, transferring her nursing skills to family care. She was also a member of the CWL. Like her soul-mate Paul, she was a kind, gentle and compassionate woman of deep faith who was well-loved. She will be remembered most for her gentle spirit, her quiet strength, her clear "baby blues", her tourti"re, and her unexpected one-liners. Thank you to the caring staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare Centre (3 South " Palliative), Dr. Dhar and RCU staff, the WRH Cancer Centre, and the CCAC team, who cared for her throughout the course of her illness. A special thank you is extended to her family physician Dr. Tatlay. As per Yvette's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Our Lady of the Atonement (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) on Saturday September 19th for a Memorial Visitation from 9:00 AM until time of Yvette's Memorial Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. All are welcome to a luncheon following the mass at the church hall. A private interment to follow. If desired, donations may be made to Windsor Regional Hospital Respiratory Care Unit ( envelopes available at the church and funeral home ).
