Obituary of Amerigo Marrocco

MARROCCO, Amerigo It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Amerigo on September 15, 2015 at 75 years of age. Loving husband and best friend of Antonietta (Nee Capocci) for 48 years. Cherished father of John Marrocco (Dana Jones). Adored Nonno of Johnny Amerigo. Predeceased by his parents Ibbi and Gilda Marrocco. Dear brother of Giovanni (Paola) Marrocco, the late Mafalda (late Umberto) Teti, the late Renato (Maria) Marrocco, and the late Livio Marrocco. Brother-in-law of Pietro (Bruna) Capocci, Amerigo (Franca) Capocci, Alberto (Angela) Capocci and very special brother-in-law of Egle Capocci (Tommy Schiro). He will also be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Amerigo will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and his sense of humour that will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Thursday September 17, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service Friday September 18, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
