Obituary of Zdzislaw "Jesse" Raczy

RACZY, Zdzislaw “Jesse” Born on October 7, 1950 in Poland, and passed away peacefully with family at his side on August 14, 2020 in Windsor at the age of 69. Beloved husband and best friend of Halina Raczy for 48 years. Loving father of his precious daughters Magdalena Tulacz and husband Robert, and Anna Langlois and husband Scott. Cherished Dziadziu to Emma and Jacob. Predeceased by his parents Walenty and Franciszka Raczy, and his mother and father in-law Jozefa & Zygmunt Raczy. Dear brother of Tadeusz and wife Danuta, Wladyslaw and wife Kazimiera, and predeceased by his brother Ferdynand and surviving wife Weronika, all of Poland. Dear brother in-law of Zofia and Stanislaw Jasinkiewicz, Marta and Lester Wichlacz. He is dearly loved and survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends in Poland, Canada and USA. Zdzislaw was a director of transportation and a successful business owner before immigrating to Canada in 1989 to provide his family with a better life and more opportunities. He retired in 2015 after 21 years of service with Ford Motor Company. Zdzislaw was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, and his love for his family never went unnoticed. He treasured his grandchildren, Emma and Jacob, they were his world and what he looked forward to most. Zdzislaw enjoyed doing home renovation projects and working in his garden. He was a kind and spiritual man, and never hesitated to lend help or guidance to family and friends. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell Chapel) 11677 Tecumseh Road E, 519-253-7234 on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Reservations are not required. PLEASE NOTE: MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE FUNERAL HOME. A private family service will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. Cremation to follow.
