Obituary of Eugenio Stelio Tonato

TONATO, Eugenio "Eugene" Passed away peacefully on August 26, 2015 at W.R.H., Ouellette Campus at the age of 90. Beloved husband of 53 years to Adriana (nee Moro). Loving father to Robert Tonato. Eugenio is predeceased by 4 sisters in Italy and a sister, Maria, in Canada. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and family in Canada and italy. Eugene retired from Chrysler Canada after 34 years of dedicated service. He was a very proud member of C.A.W. Local 444, The Giovanni Caboto Club and their bocce fila league, and the Veneti nel Mondo Association. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers Friday at 4:30 pm. Funeral Services on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 8:30 am from the funeral home to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
