Obituary of Clifford Davies

DAVIES, Clifford James "Cliff" Passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on August 22nd, 2015 at 90 years of age at Windsor Regional Hospital Metropolitan Campus. Beloved husband of 60 years to Barbara (nee Parry). Cliff was born July 13th, 1925 in Porth, South Wales, United Kingdom and was a graduate of The University of Wales at Cardiff with a degree in French and Spanish. Cliff taught French in private schools in England before emigrating to Canada in 1958 where he taught French at Massey Collegiate until his appointment in 1968 to the newly created position of Co-ordinator of French Immersion at the Windsor Public School Board where he remained until his retirement in 1990.
