I worked with Art for many years at Chrysler, and also had the honor of knowing him as a firefighter, myself being on Essex for over 35 yrs. Art gave 100% plus in both and was always a pleasure to be around. My deepest sympathy goes out to all Art''s family at this most difficult time. The whole community has lost a great person.

My condolences to the Lounsbury Family at this time of Art''s passing. I have fond memories of working with Art while he was in high School at the McDonalds at Tecumseh and Lauzon. He certainly led a wonderful life and now after his suffering finds himself in a much better place. I wish you well as you move forward. It was my distinct privilege to work alongside Art, sharing the same office, for the 4 years he was Deputy Chief at Tecumseh Fire. He would always stop what he was doing to answer my questions fully; I admired him for his knowledge of the fire department operations. Art was a very kind man and he loved his family and work dearly. The Tecumseh Fire Rescue Services family has suffered the loss of a special man; your loss as family is undoubtedly even greater.
