EDWARDS, Simon Wyn<br/>Passed away peacefully on August 10, 2020 in Windsor, ON at the age of 58 years. Cherished husband of Jamie (nee Wogan). Loving stepfather of Danielle MacDonald. Adored Papa to Arthur, Alexandre, and baby boy on the way. Beloved son-in-law to Gen Wogan (the late Jerry). Loving brother-in-law to Judy and Bill Westfall, Jenny Emerson, and Jerri and Rick Morris. Predeceased by his parents John and June Edwards and his siblings Ann and Jonathan. Simon will also be lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Rachel, his good friend Margaret, and all his nieces, nephews, and friends in both England and Canada. Simon was an extremely talented photographer and charming man who moved here from England to be with the love of his life Jamie. He was well known in our community as someone who always went above and beyond in service to others. Simon lit up any room or event that he attended either as a freelance photographer or with Snapd Windsor. He was a gift to our community and will be missed greatly. We take comfort in knowing that Simon is with his Mum, whom he treasured dearly. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL (South Chapel) 3048 Dougall Ave, 519-253-7234. At Simon’s request, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will occur at a later date. Simon was the main photographer for the Windsor Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation and donations made in memory of Simon to this charity are welcomed and appreciated by the family.
