Obituary of Rosa Merucci

MERUCCI, Rosa August 31, 1929 " July 19, 2015 In loving memory of our beloved Wife, Mother and Nonna. Rosa was the cherished wife and companion to Luigi for 67 years. She was predeceased by her parents, Filippo and Cosma and her brother, Giovanni. Treasured Mother of Filomena, Martha, Josephine Heuton (Robert) and Marco (Janice Johnston). Devoted Nonna of Alexander, Paul, William and Jacqueline. She was an inspiration and champion to her grandchildren and a source of strength for her husband and children. Rosa was blessed with many enduring friendships as a member of The Via Italia Seniors and the Ciociaro Club. She was an accomplished gardener and loved flowers especially roses. She was an excellent cook and kept a bountiful table. She had a deep and abiding faith and viewed daily Mass with her husband, Luigi. Rosa will be missed by many nieces, nephews and relatives in Italy, France and the United States. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 8:45 a.m. from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
