Obituary of Marko Lulic

LULIC, MARKO It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of a loving husband, father and dida, at Windsor Regional Hospital (Met Campus), on July 18, 2015 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of 47 years to Anica (nee Nekic). Loving father to Mirjana Botica (Ante), Diana Lulic (Al Gibson), Melanie Lulic, Marko Lulic (Lyne). Cherished dida to Gabriella, Filip and Mate Botica, Brooke and Andrew Gibson, Julia and Marko Lulic. Predeceased by parents Petar and Marta Lulic, and brother Ivan Lulic (Jelka). Dear brother to Milka Katic (late Dujo), Mandica Miklic ( late Naci) and Marica Baro (late Josip); all of Croatia. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Croatia. Marko was the proud owner of Dynamo Machine and Tool. He also was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Church and a proud sponsor of the Windsor-Croatia Soccer Club. A sincere and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Pan and Dr. Matthews at Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital (Met Campus) for their excellent care. Special thanks to nurse Adriana at C.C.A.C and nurses John and Sarah for their exceptional and compassionate care provided to Marko. Visiting at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL), 519-253-7234, 1700 Tecumseh Road E., on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers Tuesday at 8 p.m. Funeral service on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. from the Funeral Home to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund or Windsor-Essex County Cancer Centre Foundation.
