Obituary of Jacqueline Anne Garant

GARANT, Jacqueline Anne (Nee Hebert) It is with heavy hearts that the Garant family announces the passing of their beloved Jacqueline surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Heron Terrace at the age of 81 years. Born in Windsor, Ontario. She will be missed dearly by husband Roger Garant with whom she shared a blessed 63 years of marriage. Cherished mother to Brian Garant (Laura), Terry Garant (Lori), David Garant (Christine), Melissa Kaiser (Gerry) and Tim Garant (Helen). Loving grandmother to 15 beautiful grandchildren. Proud great grandmother to 5 wonderful great grandchildren, and 1 great grandbaby as we are anticipating his or her arrival. Dear sibling of Jerry Hebert (Beth), Richard Hebert (Sue), Judy Richards (Brian) and Mary Jo Hebert. As a young woman, Jacqueline raised her voice and sang in the St. Vincent de Paul Choir. She is remembered by many for the years of caring and being the happiest with a home filled with love and family members. She always had nimble fingers and loved to offer help with sewing as a seamstress and giving life and colour to her garden. She always loved to celebrate, for it gave her a reason to have all of the family get together as one. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Monday, July 13, 2015 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers at 4:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at St. Vincent de Paul Church (2015 Balfour Blvd) at 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery (5005 Howard Avenue).
