Obituary of Silvio De Menech

De Menech, Silvio Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on July 3, 2015 at the age of 90. Loving husband to Silla. Reunited with his first wife Bruna (1984). Cherished father to Renzo & Sofia and step father to Susan & Andreas and Luana & David. Proud grandfather to Alessandro, Ambreena, Alexandra, Andreas, Philip, Talia, Joseph, Nicholas and Mia. Silvio is survived by his brother Luigi. Predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Windsor, Vancouver, Detroit and Italy. Silvio retired after 20 plus years of service from General Motors Trim Plant. The family would like to thank the staff of the Villages of St. Clair, 4th floor-Talbot for their loving care and support to Silvio throughout his stay. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will be held at 4:30 pm. in the Chapel. Funeral Service on Wednesday July 8, 2015 at 8:45 am from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Silvio to Italian Canadian Handicapable Association or the Downtown Mission.
