Obituary of Frances Mary Gillett

GILLETT, Frances (Spargalo) (nee Niemsof) After years of avoiding him, St. Peter finally caught up with the "Road Runner". Peacefully in her 93rd year, Frances has joined her family on July 2, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Francis Gillett (Babe), and the late Alexander Spargalo. Predeceased by her children Joanne Baker (Blane), Mary Baleka (George), and Robert and survived by her daughter-in-law Ruth-Ann. Loving grandmother to 8, great-grandmother to 14, and great great-grandmother to 11. She was retired from Windsor Regional Hospital, Met. Campus as a porter "Road Runner", a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #12, bargain shopper, snowbird, photographer, and Sugar Daddy Winker. Frances was blessed to move to Huron Lodge for her final years, where she was lovingly cared for by the amazing staff there. Visitation will be held at St. Andrew's Anglican Church (205 Laurier Dr.) on Saturday, July 4, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Hilton Gomes officiating.
