Obituary of Beverly Margaret Metcalfe-Hardaker

METCALFE-HARDAKER, Beverly Passed away peacefully on June 30, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Widow of the late Dr. Donald C. Metcalfe (1958) and the late Harold Hardaker (1986). Loving mother to Kevin and wife Donna, Brian and wife Dianne, and David and wife Robin. Cherished grandmother to Ryan (Laurel), Michael, Jeremy, Trevor, Keith, Christopher, Alicia (Billy) Good and Jeffrey (Julie). Dear great- grandmother to Jack, Kieran, Emma, Nathan, Natalia, Abiga"lle. Beverly was a graduate of St. Michael's Hospital School of Nursing in Toronto and retired after many years as an R.N. She was a Nursing Sister in the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corp. during WWII. The family would like to thank the Nurses and all the staff at Riverside Place for their great care, respect, and love for our mother over the last several years. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11667 Tecumseh Rd. E on Sunday, July 5, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Parish Prayers Sunday at 3 pm and a Veterans Service will be held Sunday at 7:30 pm under the Auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee. Visitation will continue on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) from 9 am until time of funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Beverly, donations may be made to the Poppy Fund at R.C.L.
