Obituary of Daniel Joseph Sylvester

It is with heavy hearts that the Sylvester family announces the sudden passing of Daniel on Thursday June 11, 2015 at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus at the age of 63 years. Beloved husband to Donna Sylvester. Predeceased by parents Sylvio and Jeanette Sylvester. He is survived by his children Jennifer and Dan(Brigitte). Proud Papa of Mariah and Eleanor. Cherished sibling of Mary Jurecko (late Andrew), Kay Hebert (Peter), Joan Zelko (late Joseph), Julie Cochois (Al), Robert Sylvester (Agnes), Maureen McLennan (Murray) and Mark Sylvester. Dear sibling in-law of Thomas McNorton (Sam), Bob McNorton (Nancy), Nancy Plummer (Donovan) and Patrick McNorton (Linda). Lovingly remembered by God daughter Krystal Pollock. Daniel adored and was adored by many nieces and nephews. And will be missed by his dear pets Bennie and Carl. He is remembered by many for the 16 years of Coaching the Belle River Minor Hockey League and his 38 years of dedication to G.M. as a proud Facility Manager. Visiting will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Parish prayers are Sunday at 4:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at St. Anne Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd E) on Monday June 15, 2015 from 10:30 AM until time of Dan's Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
