Obituary of Donald Charles Huggard

HUGGARD , Don Passed away peacefully on June 9, 2015 at the age of 86 years, with his loving family at his side. Loving husband of Maxine ( nee Monforton ) sharing 63 years of love and companionship. Adored father of Mark Huggard ( Joanne ) , Christine Thrasher ( Rob ), Donna Snow ( Tom ), Paul Huggard, Mary - Jo Armstrong ( Ken ), Greg Huggard ( Ann Marie ) and John Huggard. Cherished PAPA of Emily, Ben ( Lisa ), Greg, Josh, Dane, Rebekah, Abbey, Claire, Jacob and Noah. Step PAPA to Andrew, Meghan and Courtney. Reunited with his parents Charles and Dorothy Huggard. Loved brother of Alvin the late Gerry ( Sharon ) and Ann. Dear brother in law of the late Roger Monforton ( Theresa ), Miriam Page and the late Ernie, Paul Monforton, the late Clara, Rosalie and Ernie Gignac and the late Frank Monforton ( Ginny ), Jeannette Byrne and the late Hank, and Dawn Huggard and Emily's mother Cathiy Dzus. Don will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Don loved his job as a foreman at the Windsor Utilities Commission where he worked for 39 years, and his years with the Essex County Real Estate Board. Everyone is welcome to join the family at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church ( 834 Raymo Rd ) on Saturday June 13, 2015 from 12:30 PM until time of Don's funeral mass at 1:30 PM.
