Obituary of Walter Lewchuk

Passed peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital Wednesday May 13, 2015 surrounded by family. Born December 9, 1924 in Brest Poland. Long-time resident of Windsor Ontario. Survived by his wife Stella Lewchuk, daughter Stephanie (Lee) Dawson and sons Wayne (Dale) and Michael (Lisa). Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Ken), Stephanie (Eddie), Melissa (Tom), Danielle, Stephen, Natia, Dylan, Amanda, Janine (Don) and Matthew (Jassica) and great-grandfather of Jacob, Joshua, Payton, Olivia, Joe, Domenic and Landon. Survived by twin brother Nick (Vera). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Friday May 15, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A Veterans Service under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Service Committee will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service Saturday May 16, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Windsor Regional Hospital- Metropolitan Campus.
