Obituary of Caterina Talerico

TALERICO, Caterina (nee Marra) Born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Italy, October 29, 1921 and immigrated to Canada in 1955. Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 18, 2015 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of late Giovanni (1990). Loving mother of Maria Lepera (late Giovanni), Frank, Felix (Teresa), Rosi Farina (Joseph), John and predeceased by infant daughter Costanza. Cherished Nonna to 13 grandchildren and Bis Nonna to 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Giuseppina Spadafora. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E on Friday March 20, 2015 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Parish prayers Friday at 4:30pm. A funeral service on Saturday March 21, 2015 at 10:15am from the funeral home then to St. Angela Merici Church for a Funeral Mass at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In memory of Caterina, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
