Obituary of Roger Craig Whitson

Peacefully on March 11, 2015, in the loving arms of his wife Sharon ( nee Muxworthy ) with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. Cherished dad to Kim Whitson " Gelinas, Aaren Whitson & wife Lauren. Adoring grandpa to Jenna, Zach, Ben and Ella. Predeceased by brother Larry and survived by sister in law Terry Whitson. Dear brother in law of Marijean & husband Thomas Knight and Raymond Muxworthy and Elaine. Loving uncle to Christopher, Gregory, Lisa , Laurie and by 1 great niece and 5 great nephews. Roger was a retired inspector from the City of Windsor , past president of CUPE 543 and a Lay Minister with ABBA of Canada. In his past time he loved music and was an extremely accomplished musician. Visitation at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home Banwell Chapel ( 519-253-7234 ) 11677 Tecumseh Rd East on Friday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday March 14, 2015 from 9:30 AM until time of funeral service at 10:30 AM in the chapel. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens.
