Obituary of Leopold Joseph Armand Noel

NOEL, Paul Passed away peacefully with loving family by his side on March 10, 2015 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Yvette (n"e Dionne) for 56 years. Cherished father of Jean-Paul (Anna), Th"r"se, Dave (Ann), and Marc (Marie). Fun-loving P"p" to Henri, Jim, Megan, Annika, Grace, Katy, Eryn, Jacqueline, Ryan, and Lili. Dear brother to Roger, Madeleine, Gloria, Leonard, John, Annette, Robert, Joel, and Anita. Predeceased by sisters Madeleine, Geraldine, Pauline, and Linda. Also will be missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, and friends. Paul was a well-respected man in the printing industry, where he managed presses at The Detroit Gravure and The Detroit News, until his retirement from Windsor Print. He was a kind, gentle, and compassionate man of deep faith who was much loved. His caring soul enriched the lives of so many. He will be remembered most for his playful spirit, his passion for gardening, whirligigs and numbers, his connections to people, and his appreciation of life"s simple pleasures. Family and friends will be received at Our Lady of the Atonement Church (2940 Forest Glade Dr.) on Saturday March 14, 2015 from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Cremation to follow.
