Obituary of Wasyl Worhach

WORHACH, William "Wasyl" Passed away peacefully on February 19, 2015. Reunited with his loving wife Susan Emrich (1999). Cherished father to Helen & husband Tom Grandbois, and Annie & husband Robert Bowes. Proud grandfather to Paul, Sara, William and Christy and great grand children Raiden, Lynsey, Madison and Ashlyn. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary Worhach. Dear brother to Antonina, Micheal, late George and late Helen, and brother-in-law to Rose Emrich (late Martin), Katie Klein (late Steven)(late Hans), Maria Krautner (late Mike). William will be missed by many family members in Poland, Ukraine, and Austria. William was retired from Chrysler Canada after many dedicated years, as well as a dedicated member of Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (MAIN CHAPEL) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday February 22, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Panakhyda at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday February 23, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Vladimir and Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church (601 Lake Trail Drive). Rt. Rev. Father Eugene Halitsky officiating. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of William to Hospice of Windsor and Essex County, or Sts. Vladimir and Olga Church Building Fund.
