Obituary of Melvin Hodgins

Hodgins; Melvin "Mel" Passed away peacefully on February 13, 2015 surrounded by his family's love at the age of 63 years. Best friend and loving husband of the late Laura Lynn (nee Best) (2013) sharing a lifetime of happiness and laughter. Loving father to Shannon and husband Geoff Stephenson and Gordon and wife Shannon Hodgins. Cherished Grandpa of Sarah, Emma, Tyler and Lauren. Survived by his mother Noella Hodgins, predeceased by his father Gordon (2003). Beloved brother of Gary and wife Sharon, Brian and wife Pam and Marlene and husband Mike Soulliere. Dear brother in law of Karen and husband Ray Blackburn. Mel is survived by many nieces and nephews.Special thanks to Mel's nurse David Shaw of St. Elizabeth Health Care, CCAC, Hospice and to all of his friends for their support. E on Tuesday February 17, 2015 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
