Obituary of John William Richards

RICHARDS, John William "Jack" Passed away peacefully on February 12, 2015 at 89 years of age. He is now reunited with his loving wife Adrienne "Ady" and daughter Frances "Fran". Dear father of Jerome "Jerry" and wife Rose-Anne and Robert "Bob". Cherished grandfather of Christine, Mary, Ann, Donna, Shaun, Tom, Bob, Zach and Alanda. Great grandfather of 15 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Francis and Gladys and his brothers Jerome and Robert. A heartfelt thank you to Rob Trudell for being by his side and providing comfort during his last moments. Also, thank you to the staff of the Oldcastle neighborhood at The Village at St. Clair who loved and cared for John during the last months of his life. John served in the American Army during WWII where he married his beautiful Belgian Bride. He retired from the CN Rail after over 40 years of dedicated service. East on Sunday February 15, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday February 16, 2015 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. A veterans service Under the auspices of the Windsor Veterans Memorial Services Committee will be held on Monday at 7:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at St. Theresa Church on Tuesday February 17, 2015 for funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
