Obituary of Peggy Gladys Helene Chartier

CHARTIER, Peggy Helene (nee Montague) September 16, 1928 - January 31, 2015 After a long battle and always with class we say good-bye to our beautiful and elegant mother. Surrounded by her loving family we had to let her go to be re-united with her adoring husband Frank (2006) and much beloved son Jeff (1979). She missed them both so much. She leaves behind ( until we meet again ) her children, Dennis ( Marg ), Frank ( Sue ), Ron, Janice Renaud ( Keith ), Brad ( Brenda ), Cindy ( Rudy ), Pegge-Ann, Robin, Joe ( Carol ), Rick ( Donna ) , Stepson Robert and daughter in law Elaine. She was also blessed with 34 grandchildren and 32 great - grandchildren. Mom is survived by her sisters, Clara Durocher and Joanne Neil ( Bob ) and brother - in- laws Earl Dutot and Joe Lafontaine, pre-deceased by her parents John (Jack) and Emma Montague and sisters Jackie Clark, Shirley Durocher, Dorothy Dutot and Sharon Lafontaine. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home ( Banwell Chapel ) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd East on Tuesday February 3, 2015 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Visitation will continue on Wednesday February 4, 2015 from 11:00 AM until time of Peggy's funeral service at 12:30 PM in the chapel. Officiating Pastor Paul Riley. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors or Hospice of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
