Obituary of Edward Louis Joseph Dufour

DUFOUR, Edward June 2, 1934-January 29, 2015 Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side. Loving husband of 41 years to Bertha (Veldhuizen). Cherished father to Eddy Dufour (Hazel), and step-father to the late Daniel Emery (Cathy), Yvonne St. Louis (Don), Maurice Emery (Julie), Sandy Pajot (Mike), Joan Roy (Marty Gravel), and Louise White (Allan). Loving Grandpa to 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Ed was the youngest of 15 children and survived by Nellie Dupuis, Sam Dufour (Margaret), Alfred Dufour (Barbara), and predeceased by 11 siblings. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Ed was retired from Transit Windsor and upon his retirement he lived on the lake in Manitoba where he enjoyed boating and fishing was an avid gardener and also enjoyed making bird houses with his beloved wife. A special thank you to all the staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital Palliative Care Unit. As per Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place.
