Obituary of Francesco Catanzaro

CATANZARO, Francesco "Frank" It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our loving Husband, Father, Nonno, Great-Nonno and Brother, on January 25, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of 59 years to Anna (nee Arena). Loving father to Sara Prudhomme (Jim), Frank Catanzaro, Peter Catanzaro (Sue), Vito "Bill" Catanzaro and Mario Catanzaro (Fiorella). Cherished nonno to Renee Prudhomme and Mark DiPonio, Celia Bellmore, Mark Bellmore, Joe Catanzaro, Hannah Catanzaro, Zac Catanzaro, Jason Catanzaro, Cameron Catanzaro, Rachel Catanzaro-Klein (Jonathan) and Matthew Catanzaro. Great "nonno to Chloe and Cruz DiPonio, and Marcus Bellmore. Dear brother to Enza Calvaruso (Joe) and predeceased by brother Vito Catanzaro and surviving wife Rose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Frank was a retired employee of Chrysler Canada with 30 years of dedicated service and a member of CAW Local 444. A heartfelt thank-you to Dr. Peer and Dr. Aoun and staff on the 5th floor at WRH-Ouellette Campus for their compassion and care provided to Frank and his family. Visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10:30 am in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens. In memory of Frank, donations may be made to Hospice of Windsor.
