Obituary of Theodore Joseph Skoreski
Theodore Skoreski Theodore Joseph Skoreski , peacefully at Village of St. Clair in Windsor. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Sylvia (2005) and brothers Walter and Stanley (Smokey). Survived by brother Henry (Chick) and several nieces and nephews. Born in Windsor, Ontario in 1924 where he resided for many years. Ted proudly served Canada in World War II. While stationed in France he was assigned to the Black Watch and was wounded in action. He resided in Sarnia for most of his life. Ted was a long time employee of Molson Canada, retiring in 1983. He was a longtime member of the Sarnia Golf and Curling Club, enjoying many years of both golf and curling. Ted was a long time active Shriner in Sarnia. He was a man of great integrity. Ted had a kind and generous heart and demonstrated this in helping those less fortunate than he until day of death. Cremation has taken place with interment of ashes to take place in Windsor Grove Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. It was Ted"s wishes that there would be no memorial service. He will be truly missed by many. If you so desire memorial donations to the Salvation Army or St. Joseph's Hospice in Sarnia would be appreciated.
