Obituary of John Izsak, Sr.

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce that John Izsak passed away at WRH MET Campus on July 23, 2020 with his devoted son John Jr. by his side at the age of 86 years old. Reunited with his wife Joan (2009), son Brian (2016), and to meet his great-grandson Wyatt (2019). Beloved father to John (Sharon), and Glenn. Predeceased by sisters Irene and Julie, and brothers Steve and Frank. Beloved brother to Lydia and Theresa. Loving grandfather to Kristin, Matthew, Lindsay, Robert, Brittany and Trevor. Great-Grandfather to Harriet, Annabelle, Ava, Landin, Caeden, Peyton, Jaxon, and Hunter. Dedicated employee of GM Trim Plant for 31 years. Enjoyed spending time and making memories with family camping, and in Delray Beach, Florida. The family would like to thank the staff at Tecumseh Extendicare for their care and support. Donations can be made in John’s memory to Parkinson Canada. Memorial visitation at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Thursday July 30, 2020 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Interment of cremated remains to take place on Friday July 31, 2020 at 10am at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Room size restrictions in place, please remember to wear a mask if attending.
