Dear Donna: I was saddened to read in today's paper of your mom's passing. My mom has been in hospital (again!) since December 14th, so it has been several weeks since I was last at Extendicare. My mom will be returning there January 12th, and I know she will be very sad that her "next-door neighbour" will not be there. It's funny, but my mom used to always say "she's such a nice girl" about your mom! With sincere sympathies to you and to all who share your loss.
