Obituary of John Joseph Ulicny

ULICNY, John It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John on January 9, 2015 at the age of 88 years. Loving husband and best friend of Margaret (nee Kralovensky) for 67 years. Cherished father of Gary ( Christina) Ulicny and Gayle (John) Domarchuk. Adored grandfather of Brandon, Jack and Natalie. Dear brother of Andrew (Donna) Ulicny and William Ulicny and companion Marlene. Brother-in-law of Alfred (Pat) Kralovensky. John will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and other extended family. John retired from Chrysler Canada after 42 years of dedicated service as a tool maker. Johnny was a "good guy" who loved to work around the home and also an avid golfer yet better bowler. John was a loyal Detroit Red Wing and Lion"s fan. Visitation will be held at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church (1532 Alexis Road) on Monday January 12, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers and in kindness, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice.
