A Prayer for the Deceased Peter Alexander BLAK God of mercy, look kindly on Your servant the Late S.K. Peter Alexander BLAK who has set down the burden of His years. As he served You faithfully throughout his life, may You give him the fullness of Your peace and joy. We give thanks for the long life of Peter Alexander BLAK, now caught up in Your eternal love on January 8 last. We make our prayer in the Name of Jesus, Who is our Risen Lord now and forever. Lord our God, the death of Peter Alexander BLAK recalls our human condition and the brevity of our lives on earth. But for those who believe in Your love, death is not the end, nor does it destroy the bonds that You forge in our lives. We share the faith of Your Son's disciples and the hope of the children of God. Bring the light of Christ's resurrection to this time of testing and pain as we pray for Peter and for those who love him, through Christ our Lord. Amen. We extend our deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of your husband, beloved father, grandfather and a business partner. The Blak Family has lost their Patriarch, a great leader, a tower of strength and support through good times and bad. We understand that it is very difficult to bear the loss of someone so close like your cherished late S.K. Peter Alexander BLAK. The process of working through those losses is very challenging. Our Catholic Church tells us it is helpful to pray for those who have died (Psalm 137 known as "In the Sight of the Angels", CBW III).
