POWERS, Maxine Mary (Nee Dixon) Born September 3, 1940. Passed away December 21, 2014 at the age of 74 years. Best friend and wife of the late John Ernest Alexander Powers (2008). Loving mother to seven children; Vincent (wife Diane) of Bowmanville, Theo (wife Lisa) of Windsor, Paul (wife Diane) of Tecumseh, Janie Falesy (husband Kevin) of South Hampton, Aaron (wife Michelle) of Windsor, Ian at home, Jonathan (wife Jen) of Red Lake, Ont. Loving grandmother to Jenine, Jillian, Casey, Oliver, Nicholas, Tyler, Grace, Benjamin, Mya, Joel, Maximus, Lorelei, and Stella. Predeceased by loving parents Madeline and Roy Dixon. Dear sister to Frances Koslowski (husband Eric), the late Richard Dixon & survived by wife Sylvia, Roy Dixon (wife Heather), Roger Dixon (late wife Verna), Joseph Dixon (partner Diane) George Dixon (wife Mary Beth) and Teresa Charlebois (late husband Danny). Sister-in-law of Pat Girard (husband Ray). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maxine will be remembered as a dedicated mother. She took great enjoyment in gardening, cooking and keeping loved ones warm with her knitting. At Maxine"s request cremation has taken place.
