Obituary of Vito Catanzaro

CATANZARO, Vito Passed away December 19, 2014 at the age of 82 years. Of Windsor Ontario, born in Castellammare del Golfo, Sicily. Vito lost his battle with cancer after one and half years, in the home of his daughter, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Rosa Catanzaro (nee Taranto). Loving father to his daughters Sara & Mark Allen, Angie & Joe Muzzin, Virginia & Rick Castellano. Adoring Nonno to Kristie & Steve Rubik, Andrea & Rob Mancini, Samantha Allen, Alan & Tara Muzzin, Dale & Stephanie Muzzin, Ryan & Sarah Castellano and Dylan Castellano. Also great-grandfather to Alexiah & Alivia. Surviving brother to Frank & Anna Catanzaro, Enza & Joe Calvaruso. Beloved brother-in-law to Vito & Diana Taranto, Isidoro & Maria Faraci, Joe & Angela Taranto, Joe & Sara Vitale, Bob & Maureen Taranto, Nancy & Sam Olivito. Loved by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Vito retired from Chrysler after 33 years of dedicated service. He has helped many of his friends and family and will be missed by all. Visiting at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, (Main Chapel) 253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 7-9pm and Monday, December 22, 2014 from 2 -5 and 7 -9pm. Parish prayers Monday at 4:30 pm. Funeral Service Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 8:45am from the Funeral Home then to St. Angela Merici Church for Funeral Mass at 9:30 am.
