Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Pitre
PITRE, Elizabeth "Betty" May 12, 1938 - December 16, 2014 After a joyful life blessed with a loving family, treasured friends and unwavering faith, we announce the passing of our loving and courageous mother, wife, mother-in-law, and grandmother, Betty Pitre, on December 16, 2014. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 56 years Eugene (Neiner) Pitre. Loving and cherished mother to Greg Pitre and Kathy Beck, Jim and Corinne Pitre, Lori and John Tonial, Norm and Nichola Pitre, Marianne Lamoureux and Sandra Blaney. Proud grandmother to Kaleigh, Emily, Allison, Jonathon, Jordano, Joshua, Bruno-Hunter, Montana, Sophya, Megan, Hunter, and Brendan. Betty is survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Special "mom" to Kathy and Rick Mailloux. She was predeceased by her parents Marcella and Charles Bryans, and her brother Charlie Bryans. Betty worked at CIBC bank in Tecumseh for over 20 years. She was active with St. Anne's R.C.I.A. CWL, RCL Branch 261 women's auxiliary, St. Anne's Eucharistic Ministry and the Bereavement team. Her favorite past time was watching the Detroit Tigers with assistant coach Neiner, by her side. A special thank you to the I.C.U. staff at WRH Met. Campus who cared for and about our mother for the last 6 weeks. Relatives and friends are welcome to gather at St. Anne's Church (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.) on Saturday, December 20, 2014 for Memorial Visitation from 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Banwell Chapel) 519-253-7234 11677 Tecumseh Rd.
