Obituary of Maria Tarnovietchi

TARNOVIETCHI, Maria "Mimi" Passed away peacefully on November 13, 2014 with her loving family by her side. Reunited with her grandson Stefan, adored son Eugene and husband Giuseppe Lapresa. Cherished grandma of Ashley Tarnovietchi, Stephanie Snyder and great grandson Eric Snyder. Maria will also be missed by many extended family members and the Romanian Community. Maria was a dedicated pediatric nurse in Romania. Upon immigrating to Canada in 1964, she then established Bruce Rest Home, Pine Valley Rest Home, The Stephanie Rest Home, Royal Palm Rest Home and A1A Rest Home. She will also be remembered for her generosity towards her family and in the community. Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (Main Chapel) 519-253-7234 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30p.m. Visiting continues on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at St. George's Romanian Orthodox Cathedral (1960 Tecumseh Rd.
